High-speed Access to the Internet
Exploding all around the world, the Internet has become
a fundamental component of the new economy. Though ground
communication network is coming into being in a high speed,
it still can't keep pace with the Internet, and here comes
a "bottleneck" problem. It is a hard work to
build high-speed ground communication lines due to the
vast territory and mountainous geographical conditions
of the country. However, in the beginning of this new
century, the government raised the strategy of "Great
Development in the Western China", which makes the
task of establishing large-scale broad band communication
systems even urgent.

Internet access with the broad band communications. Satellite
communications transmit information via geosynchronous

By using satellite technologies, this solution of high
speed interfacing into the Internet transmits the continuously
increasing amount of Internet information from both users
and enterprises, and solves the problem of the overcrowded
trunk line of the Internet. It performs the transmission
using the MPEG/DVB standard.
This system fully makes use of features of the one-way
satellite link and makes it a somewhat specific line,
i.e. the IRD receiver outputs only what the satellite
gateway inputs, and has flexibility in information filtration.
The system works on OSI network layer, link layer, and
physical layer.
When working on the link layer, the satellite equipment
provides many virtual circuits, supports all protocols
of the Ethernet.
With the use of subsystems such as SuperCache, SuperRoute
and Superflow, The solution maximize the advantage of
Satellite communication. It also provides QoS Control
and provides users with many choices of feedback channel.
