Voice/Data Integrated Services
System
Modern communication networks require an effective, reliable,
integrated service communication system, which features
in transmission of services such as voice, fax, image,
and data, etc.
FRIDAS Frame Relay Integrated Digital
Access System
FRIDAS Satellite Frame Relay system combine frame relay
technologies and digital satellite communication technologies,
provide a multi-service platform supporting data, voice,
fax and image. It employs series advanced technologies:
MCPC(Multiple Channel Per Carrier), voice compression,
frame relay, etc.
Outbound channel of each satellite station in the FRIDAS
system operates at up to 2Mbps and support two-way transmission
of large amount of information. By means of TDM, outbound
channel uses statistic multiplexing to dynamically assign
bandwidth among users, and thus save bandwidth and frequency,
and also reduce the cost of network-running. On the other
hand, inbound channel uses SCPC permanent assignment.
The FRIDAS system supports asymmetrical communication,
where the data rate of outbound channel may be far bigger
than that of inbound channel, therefore satisfies with
service demand and save space segment as well.
The FRIDAS system terminals can provide functionality
like router or switch. It has network interfaces to directly
access users' LAN and therefore save the investment of
routers and switches.
The FRIDAS system can provide high quality compressed
voice with lower date rate (4.8K-8K) and echo cancellation.
The FRIDAS has QoS(Quality of Service) that can assign
different bandwidth for different services to ensure the
normal operation of whole system.
The FRIDAS system has a powerful network management system
conducting intellegent management to networks. The advantage
of this system is the ease of installation and maintenance.
