C Band 5W BUC

The WANCOM BG-BUC series C-band outdoor BUC (Block-Up-converter) is a high performance transmitter designed for use in SCPC, DAMA and TDMA, VSAT satellite earth stations. Its high linearity and superior phase noise performance makes it ideal for wide area telephony, video conferencing and data communications systems with different modulation formats including BPSK, QPSK, QAM and FM. The BG-BUC was designed to offer user the ability to control the gain via a dip-switch hence making it widely compatible with the wide range of available modem. The BUC is designed for direct mounting on a wide range of earth station antennas. It is environmentally sealed for outdoor operation.

The WANCOM BG-BUC series are a family of outdoor RF Block-Up Converters (BUC), designed for Ka-band satellite communication systems. BG-BUC3045-05/W series BUCs are integrated units with power supply, phase locked oscillator, power amplifier, frequency converters and cooling system. BG-BUC3045-05/W series BUCs have been tested and calibrated between -40 oC
and +70oC, so they assure very good gain stability with temperature. They also include
a temperature alarm and power supply shutdown to protect the amplifier from permanent damages when temperature exceeds 80oC.

The WANCOM BG-LNB series have been designed to meet the more restrictive specifications for Ka Band communication systems. The equipment has a typical gain of 55 dB with a Noise Figure less than 2.5 dB with low weight and dimensions. BGLNB2065-05/N have been tested and calibrated between -40oC and +70oC, so they assure very good gain stability with temperature.

Mux-2000/Demux-2000 is a specially designed and developed multiplex/de-multiplex equipment used in large-scale page system, which can simultaneously transmit multiple page information. It can supply multimedia broadcast service while completing the page broadcast.

When the page information is transmitted through the satellite or the terrestrial communication network, the communication capacity offered by the satellite or the terrestrial communication network is enormously larger than that of page information. Hence, in order to save the transmission resources, multi-channel page information usually can be processed and formed a high-speed time-division trunk data. Each page information, then, is broadcasted out after de-multiplexing the high-speed trunk data and restoring its original at the page base station.

Mux-2000 processes (n x 8) channels' POCSACE and FLEX input page information and forms the high-speed time-division trunk data for transmission.
Mux-2000 can provide remote control port and multi-MUXs cascade link port, and after cascade-link, it can provide more channels multiplex capability.

Demux-2000 processes the high-speed time-division trunk data and output 4/8/16/20/24 channels' POCSAGE or FLEX page information to the page broadcast equipment or terminal at the page base station.
Demux-2000 is fully adaptive to the trunk data rate and supports the remote control function. It also has multi-MUXs cascade link port, GPS port, primary/secondary interface. After cascade-link, it can provide more channels' multiplexing capability.
